The majestic Victoria Falls Bridge is more than 110 years old and connects the two countries, Zambia and Zimbabwe across the towns of Livingstone and Victoria Falls respectively. On 13 June 1905, a Zambezi International Regatta was held to celebrate the successful construction of the bridge, marking a highlight of 3-day elated celebrations. The race was held on a 1000meter straight reach of water, and the event was attended by more than 1000 curious and jeering visitors. What a festive sight it was!!
