A Hwange safari

Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe's premier wildlife reserve. The magnificent and vast park is just over two hours drive from the Victoria Falls Hotel and well worth the effort. If you want to experience the magnificence of Africa this is the place: few tourists and spectacular game viewing. Each season offers a gem to the wildlife enthusiast - in the dry winter months witness the vast herds of elephants as they jostle for position at the drying waterholes;  in the summer months the skies come alive with the migrant bird species. Hwange is a place where the big five and smaller mammal species and be seen and enjoyed.          

The Hide Safari Camp is one of the original lodges located within Hwange and after some recent upgrading is looking more beautiful than ever.
